My thoughts:
Every Perfect Gift is a very enjoyable romance with a little intrigue mixed in. Sophie is a girl who has always wondered who she is. She grew up in an orphanage until she was 10 when she was adopted by a couple who gave her the love she never received in the orphanage. 

I found Every Perfect Gift a little hard to read and yet it was enjoyable at the same time. I say a little hard to read because it seemed a bit long throughout the first 1/3 of the book - once the romance, the intrigue and Sophie's background are explained away the book got much better and I finally connected with it. Ethan is a wonderful guy (anyone have an Ethan tucked away that I could meet?) and Sophie is a perfect match for him. Both characters are strong as are many of the other characters in the book. I'd love to read the story behind Sophie's foster parents and I'm wondering if Books 1 or 2 in this series are theirs? 

I loved the last 1/3'd of the book. All the loose ends start to be tied together, Sophie's parentage starts to be explained and the relationship between Sophie & Ethan keeps you wondering. Wonderful book - easily a 4 out 5 stars on my shelf!
