The word `Cinnamon’ is derived from the Greek `Kinamomon’ meaning pipes or tubes. It was used in ancient times for embalming and as incense in the temples. It is one of the oldest oils used for medicinal purposes, and its usage has been found in texts dating from 1550 BC.

The Egyptians used it to massage their feet and to cure excessive bile. Many people
used it for mulled wines and in love potions. It was used as a sedative during
childbirth. It was an important trade commodity between China, India and Egypt.
Cinnamon bark and leaf oil originated mostly from the tropical regions of Asia. It is
found mostly in Indonesia, China, Sri Lanka, India, Vietnam and Madagascar. Today,
the shrub is found in almost every tropical place in the world. It has always featured
prominently in all traditional medicines.

My thoughts!
Ahhh - Cinnamon. What holiday treat comes to your mind? Is it Ooey Gooey Cinnamon Rolls? Did you know there is much more to cinnamon than sweets? Cinnamon Bark is one of the most popular herbs used for medicinal purposes and flavoring foods. It stimulates digestion while supporting the immune system. Relieves Aches & Pains. Can be diluted and diffused in the air to disinfect. And it's also known as a Sexual Stimulant and can be blended with massage oils. (This might be the BEST Christmas Gift you've ever given your hubby ;)

Note:
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with sensitive areas such as your eyes.
If pregnant, nursing or having a medical condition, consult your physician before
use. Store away from light and heat.
