Christmas Around the World Wk 2

We're already into Week 2 of the Christmas Around the World Launch! Wow! We've seen excitement in the homes of homeschoolers (who doesn't feel excitement at Christmas time?) and I know my kiddos are starting to think about Santa and dreaming about what they are hoping is under the tree on Christmas morning!

One of the things I've really liked about the launch for Christmas Around the World is that it really IS written for families to use together. Families will learn all kinds of interesting facts about 29 different countries & how they celebrate the holidays. Obviously it's geography based and has materials provided for a variety of subjects from math, science, writing and more for grades K-6. There are also Activities for Middle Schoolers, notebooking pages as well as several pages of internet links for older kids. You can use the reproducible worksheets included for homework or quizzes, assign research lessons for individuals or team work and also use the internet to find even more activities and ideas to expand what you are learning. 

One of the things I really liked about this unit study is that it also includes a Hymn Study. I am very musical and I love sharing that interest and the beautiful music that praises our Lord & Savior with my daycare kiddos.
