Recently I joined with several other bloggers to share our classrooms and teaching ideas using Carson Dellosa Classroom Decor. I chose the Frisky & Fun Playful Foxes Bulletin Board Set along with a few other things to decorate my little daycare for this Fall's Tot School Session. Everything you see in the following pictures was provided by Carson Dellosa with the exception of the Playful Foxes Name Tags which I purchased.
This fall I have a group of younger children so our focus will be learning our ABC's & 123's along with Bible Stories and lots of music & crafts through the ABC Jesus Loves Me Curriculum. I was trying to figure out how to put up an eye catching curriculum display so parents could see what we are doing each week as well as a way to decorate our daycare room to make it cute and fun & out of reach of the 20 month old!
I used the following materials:
Playful Foxes Bulletin Board Set: #110275 $12.99
Playful Foxes Straight Edge Borders: #108194 $3.99
Playful Foxes Name Tags: #122122 $3.99
Bubbly Blues EZ Letters: #130052 $5.49
The first picture is my daily calendar where I keep track with a clock set 15 minutes early so I get kids to school & picked up on time. (and I play "scare the parents in the morning"...).
This picture shows what we are learning throughout the month of September. This shows the bulletin board borders of course - but it also shows how I used the name tags to categorize and under each heading I used another name tag, gave it a border and I will change that portion when needed. I really like the straight edges to the border which I didn't even know was available. I love how frisky & fun the foxes are! Isn't it darling???
Our toy corner - I think these Bubbly Blues letters
would make a DARLING poster! Hmmm
We've been working on Manners this summer.
Which ones do your kids need to work on?
I used 10 of the baby foxes for counting.
I've already caught Gigi pointing and touching them.
You have such fabulous classroom ideas. I really appreciate that you are spending some time focusing on good manners.
ReplyDeleteI'll be honest - the main reason we started manners was because I got seriously tired of spilled milk/drinks and food all over my carpeted floor. LOL - I find that when they don't sit nicely at the table that is where it ends up and I get irritable. Poor kids!
