My thoughts:
Have I Told You Today How Much I Love You is a quick read for kids that explains the units of measurements and then uses those to talk about how much a parent loves their child. It starts with a inch, showing it on a ruler and showing 3 different items that are a inch in size - from there it builds up to a foot, yard, mile and the distance to mars and always ends with the parent saying "I love you this much!" or "I love you much much more." I would suggest this book for kiddos about 4-5 years old and using it as a lesson about measurement. They can use a ruler to measure different things in the house and out.
