Shop Local and Win a Bosch Mixer

Annette Reeder at Farmers Market

Getting healthy happens one meal at a time. Annette Reeder, author of Treasures of Healthy Living, has a lot of great tips on improving what we eat. One of her favorite tips is to shop at your local farmers market. The fruits and vegetables they sell are grown locally and their prices are usually lower than at your grocery store. Plus, their produce is picked at the peak of the season so they contain more nutrients. Shopping at the farmers market also benefits your local farmer and strengthens your local community.

Those are lots of positives, right? Well, here is an extra benefit. If you buy a copy of one of Annette's books and post a picture of yourself with it at your local farmer's market, you could win a Bosch mixer worth over $400! Other prizes include a a $400 cancer screening, a $25 Outback gift card, River's Song by Melody Carlson, and more.
