I was watching the “Today Show” on direct.tv the other day and got a good idea for a Christmas gift. They were featuring the Kindle. I have never really been interested in one, because I don’t really care to read books that you can’t share, but I learned that you can upload your own PDF articles on there and read them. It stores a ton of them. I think that I am going to get my husbands a Kindle for Christmas. He does a lot of research and is constantly taking a stack of papers with us when we go somewhere. He will take a three inch binder everywhere we go. It weighs a ton and is so bulky. I think that he will like it a lot. He can get thousands of his articles on the device. Now, when he needs to reference something, everything will be right there at his fingertips and not under mounds of paper. I also have a feeling that we are going to start saving a lot of money on our printing costs. I have already had to replace our toner twice in the last three months. Those things get expensive!

I'd love a kindle...although I'm not sure if I can switch from paper books to the kindle. It's just such an odd thought.
